Sculptures - my love!

I did a great cleaning today and found my old photos. Lol! Look at those cheeks! :D I was a bit thick in 2000. This photo is from my first exhibition. At that time, I was 21 years old and I was doing pretty sculptures of paper. Sculpture - my favorite genre for many years, as it turned out.

Wire copper Owl

  Perhaps you dream of your own owl, which can bring you mail?  It will be a good friend for you or your loved one.
  I made this owl with copper wire. This sculpture is small, so it does not take up much space in the house. It can be placed on a table or shelf. It does not require special care - can be washed in cold water. Copper is lacquered to protect polishing.

 This is a short story of creating sculptures with copper wire. This process takes many hours. But those hours are filled with joy, because I have the opportunity to do what I love most.
  I love nature, and it is part of my work all the time. Therefore, the animals and birds are often the main characters of my works.

It was an interesting experiment. I planned to do a functional decoration for the home. Side part - a dense weaving, like knitting. A cover of the box with a thin transparent weaving in the style of Art Nouveau.

I spent a lot of time trying to sew a pillow. Because I do not like to sew. ))))
